Kolo Suliafu joined the Kansas City Current in December 2025 as a free agent after a heralded collegiate career. The defender played at the University of Washington from 2022-25 where she totaled over 6,500 minutes in 81 matches with 71 starts, amassing one goal and five assists while contributing to 34 clean sheets. She was named the Big Ten Defender of the Year and was a United Soccer Coaches All-America Second Team honoree in 2025, having also garnered All-Big Ten First Team and United Soccer Coaches All-North Region First Team praise. She was tabbed to the All-Big Ten Second Team and All-North Region Third Team in 2024.

As a senior, Suliafu led the Huskies to the 2025 Big Ten Regular Season Championship for the first time in 25 years before helping them win their first-ever Big Ten Tournament Championship. Washington then advanced to the Elite Eight for just the third time in program history, and Suliafu played all but two minutes during the team’s deep NCAA Tournament run. Suliafu anchored a UW backline which set school records for shutouts (12) in 2025 and fewest goals allowed (12) in 2024.

Suliafu has also been called up by the U.S. Youth National Team at the U-17 and U-20 levels for various training camps and friendlies.
