  • Each team is guaranteed 3 group-stage matches.
  • Teams receive 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, and 0 points for a loss.
  • The top 2 teams from each group, plus the 2 best third-place teams, advance to the Quarterfinals.
  • Quarterfinal winners advance to the Semifinals.
  • Semifinal winners advance to the Championship.
  • Knockout matches that are tied at the end of regulation will go directly to a penalty shootout.

Team Rosters

  • All players must be 18 years or older on the date of the tournament.
  • Team captains are responsible for ensuring all players are properly registered before participating.
  • Maximum roster size is 8 players.
  • Players may only be registered to one team during the tournament.
  • All players must check in before their first match.
  • Players who are not on the official roster may not participate.

Match Requirements

  • Matches are played 5v5, including the goalkeeper.
  • A minimum of 4 players is required to start a match.
  • Games consist of two 15-minute halves with a 3-minute halftime.
  • The game clock will be a running clock unless stopped by the referee for an exceptional circumstance.
  • Teams should be ready at their assigned mini pitch before their scheduled kickoff.
  • Because this is a one-day tournament with a tight schedule, teams will have a 5-minute grace period after the scheduled kickoff.
  • If a team cannot field the minimum number of players after the grace period, the match will be recorded as a forfeit.

Co-Ed Rules

  • There must be at least one (2) woman on the field at all times.
  • The goalkeeper does not count toward this requirement.
  • A team must have at least one female field player available to begin an official match.
  • If a team cannot meet the co-ed requirement, the tournament rules regarding playing short or forfeiture will apply.

Group-Stage Tiebreakers

If two or more teams finish with the same number of points, standings will be determined in the following order:

  1. Head-to-head result
  2. Goal differential
  3. Goals scored
  4. Fewest goals allowed
  5. Penalty shootout or tournament-admin tiebreaker

For determining the two best third-place teams across different groups,  points → goal differential → goals scored → goals allowed, since head-to-head cannot apply between teams from different groups.

Knockout Rounds

  • Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Championship matches cannot end in a tie.
  • If tied after regulation, teams will proceed directly to a 3-player penalty shootout.
  • If still tied after three penalties per team, the shootout continues sudden death.
  • There will be no overtime to keep the tournament on schedule.

Substitutions

  • Substitutions are unlimited.
  • Substitutions must take place from the designated team area.
  • The exiting player must leave the field before the substitute enters.
  • The referee may delay or deny a substitution that interferes with play or delays the match.

Discipline & Sportsmanship

  • Players are expected to demonstrate appropriate sportsmanship toward opponents, referees, staff, and spectators.
  • Yellow and red cards may be issued at the referee's discretion.
  • A player receiving a red card must leave the playing area and may not return to that match.
  • Two yellow cards in the same match = red card.
  • Tournament staff reserve the right to suspend a player for additional matches for serious misconduct.
  • Fighting, threats, or abusive behavior may result in removal from the tournament.

Forfeits

A forfeited match will be recorded as a 3–0 result unless tournament staff determine otherwise.

Teams that intentionally forfeit, leave the tournament early, or use an ineligible player may be removed from the tournament and/or made ineligible for the championship prize.
