Two more Kansas City Current players named to national team rosters for November friendlies

The Kansas City Current will be well supported on the international stage as two more players have been called up to represent their national teams for the upcoming November FIFA window. Midfielder Chloe Logarzo (Australia) and the rest of the Matildas play Sweden Saturday, Nov. 12 before taking on Thailand Tuesday, Nov. 15. Goalkeeper Sydney Schneider (Jamaica) and the Reggae Girlz head to Paraguay for matches Thursday, Nov. 10 and Sunday, Nov. 13.

Logarzo is a veteran with her national side. Debuting with the Matildas in 2013, she has been a member of Australia’s national team through the 2016 and 2020 Olympics and the 2019 World Cup. After suffering an injury in late 2021, Logarzo saw her first action for her country Oct. 8, coming in off the bench to help Australia to a 4-1 win over South Africa.

Schneider began her international career with Jamaica’s U17 team in 2016 and made her senior team debut in 2018 at the Concacaf Women’s Championship. There she helped the Reggae Girlz to an upset 1-0 victory over Costa Rica and earned Player of the Match honors. She has 18 caps with the Jamaican National Team.
