Registration for Kansas City Current Adult Soccer League Now Open

KANSAS CITY (Aug. 17, 2026) — The Kansas City Current unveiled its first-ever recreational adult soccer league earlier this month, and registration remains open for the inaugural season of play this fall. The co-ed league is open to all participants aged at least 18 years old by the time the season begins on Wednesday, Aug. 26. Matches will be played on Wednesday evenings on the turf fields at the KC Current Sports Complex in Riverside, Mo.  

Interested parties can click HERE to register for the fall season of the KC Current Adult Soccer League. The registration deadline is Friday, Aug. 21.  
 
Participants will have the opportunity to play under the lights at the Current’s world-class facilities while enjoying a fun, competitive environment to celebrate the beautiful game. Matches will be played in an 8v8 format, with a maximum roster size of 14 players. The KC Current Adult Soccer League features six regular season matches plus playoffs, which includes a semifinal and championship.  
 
Additionally, participants can look forward to a professionally managed league with matches on the Current’s premium turf fields in Riverside, Mo. Different options for registration are available, with the choice to sign up either a full team or as a free agent.

League Details 

• Game Format: 8v8 (including goalkeeper) 
• Game Length: Two 25-minute halves with a 3-minute halftime 
• Season Length: 6 regular season matches followed by playoffs 
• Game Day: Wednesday evenings 
• Location: KC Current Sports Complex (1 Teal Rising Way, Riverside, MO 64150) 

Team Rosters 

• All players must be 18 years or older before the start of the season. 
• Team captains are responsible for ensuring all players are registered before participating. 
• The maximum roster size is 14 players.
