KC NWSL to Unveil Team Name, Crest and Brand at Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday, Oct. 30

The Inaugural Season Finale at Legends Field on Saturday night couldn’t get much bigger.

Announced on Tuesday, the Club is set to reveal the new team name, crest and brand during a special halftime show for Fan Appreciation Night and KC NWSL’s match vs. OL Reign. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT. Tickets to the match are on sale now, available here.

Merchandise featuring the new name, crest and colors will be for sale exclusively to fans in attendance for the match, following the halftime reveal. Saturday will be fans’ only chance to secure new team merchandise until the new online team store goes live on Monday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. CT.

As a thank you for the incredible support that the Club has seen from KC NWSL fans throughout the Inaugural Season, several other bonuses are baked into Saturday’s match.

To make the most of your night, you’ll want to get there early. The first 4,000 fans out to Legends Field on Saturday night will receive a free commemorative 2021 KC NWSL Team Poster giveaway. 

Also at entry, the first 5,000 fans will receive a light-up bracelet, which they’ll be asked to turn on for a laser halftime show following the new name and crest unveil. Fans are encouraged to stay in their seats during halftime and after the game for a full slate of ceremonies.

Both Ticket Central locations, near Gate A and behind the Berm, will be active all night long with special, limited-time offers for renewing and new 2022 KC NWSL Season Ticket Members. 

2021 KC NWSL Season Ticket Members who renew before noon on Friday, Oct. 29 will be entered for the one-game-only ‘Jersey Off Their Back’ draw. The draw will take place after the game and see game-worn and signed jerseys from KC NWSL players be raffled off for fans that have chosen to renew.

2021 Season Ticket Members who are renewed for the 2022 season by noon on Friday, Oct. 29 will also be entered for a chance to have their seats upgraded to Pitchside Premium at Saturday’s match. 

Season Ticket Members who have already renewed for the 2022 season have been automatically entered for both drawings.

Lastly, Saturday’s match is the last opportunity to secure the exclusive Season Ticket Member hat, complete with the new team logo.

For fans that make a deposit to become a new 2022 KC NWSL Season Ticket Member, they’ll be given priority seat selection for KC NWSL’s future stadium in Berkley Riverfront Park.

Lastly, fans are encouraged to stick around after the match for autographs with the players.
