Kansas City Current Trades Forward Gianna Paul to North Carolina Courage

KANSAS CITY (Sept. 16, 2026) – The Kansas City Current has agreed to a trade with the North Carolina Courage for forward Gianna Paul in exchange for $150,000 in intra-league transfer funds, the clubs announced on Wednesday.

Paul signed her first professional contract with the Current in December 2025 after an All-American collegiate career at the University of Alabama. She appeared in 10 NWSL regular season matches for Kansas City, earning a start in two and logging 215 minutes.
