Kansas City Current midfielder Debinha Named to Brazil National Team roster for 2023 SheBelieves Cup

Kansas City Current midfielder Debinha has been named to Brazil’s 23 player roster for the upcoming SheBelieves Cup, Feb. 16-22. This is Brazil’s third entry into this tournament and the eighth edition overall. Debinha played all three games in each of the previous two tournaments with a goal in 2019 and two goals in Brazil’s 2021 2nd place run.

The veteran international has 129 caps and 57 goals for her home country. She has represented the Seleção Feminina at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games and the 2019 FIFA World Cup.

Brazil’s schedule kicks off February 16 against Japan at 3 p.m. CT in Orlando, Florida’s Exploria Stadium, then moves to Geodis Park in Nashville, Tennessee on Feb. 19 against Canada at 5:30 p.m. CT. The tournament concludes on Feb. 22 when Debinha and her teammates head to Dallas, Texas to face off against the United States at 6 p.m. CT.
