Kansas City Current Launches Youth Soccer Summer Camps

KANSAS CITY (May 12, 2026) — The Kansas City Current has launched its youth soccer summer camp programming, inviting youth from around the region to enjoy an action-packed summer of soccer. This year, the Current is offering six can’t-miss camps for players ages 5 to 14, set to deliver unforgettable experiences, expert coaching and the opportunity to train at the Current’s world-class facilities.

Camps will be held from June to August, with the first running from June 2-5 and the final camp running from Aug. 4-7. Programming will run from 9 a.m. to noon CT during each camp day. Camps focus on a variety of topics and themes, while providing a supportive, engaging environment to make lifelong memories.

All camp participants will receive a themed camp shirt, and certain camps may feature player appearances from KC Current players. KC Current Camps offer a fun, high-energy environment where players of all levels can build confidence, improve skills and enjoy the game while training the KC Current way.

KC Current Summer Kickoff Camp, presented by Hy-Vee: June 2-5 (Ages 5-14) – KC Current Sports Complex 
The Kansas City Current is kicking off summer with its Summer Kickoff Camp, presented by Hy-Vee, at the KC Current Sports Complex in Riverside, Mo. The first camp of summer will feature four full days of programming for participants ages 9 to 14, while participants ages 5 to 8 will participate June 2-4.

KC Current Position Development Camp: June 16-19 (Ages 8-14) – KC Current Sports Complex 
Players will have the opportunity to learn from the KC Current’s world-class coaching staff while honing their skills during the Current’s first Position Development Camp of the summer. This camp serves players of all skill levels ages 8 to 14 and will feature dedicated training broken out by position. Specialized drills and hands-on coaching for goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards are included in the Position Development Camp.

KC Current World Camp: July 7-10 (Ages 5-14) – KC Current Sports Complex 
As Kansas City gears up to celebrate the 2026 FIFA World Cup ™, players ages 5 to 14 are invited to join in the excitement with a camp celebrating the beautiful game all over the world. The KC Current World Camp will feature themed drills and camp days to build excitement for an unforgettable summer of soccer in the Heartland. Participants ages 5 to 8 will take part in the first three days of camp on July 7-9, while participants ages 9 to 14 will take part in the full four days of camp.

KC Current Teal Takeover Camp, presented by Hy-Vee: July 21-24 (Ages 5-14) – KC Current Sports Complex 
The Current and Hy-Vee are celebrating Teal Town with a Teal Takeover Camp from July 21-24. Participants are encouraged to break out their finest KC Current Teal for four fun-filled days of camp. Players ages 5 to 8 will take part in the first three days of camp, while participants ages 9 to 14 will take part in the full four days.

KC Current Elite Experience Camp: July 29-31 (Ages 8-14) – KC Current Facilities 
The Current’s penultimate summer camp features a one-of-a-kind opportunity to train like the pros at the Current’s world-class facilities. Each day of camp will highlight a different venue, beginning at the KC Current Sports Complex on July 29. Participants will then be able to take the pitch at CPKC Stadium, the first stadium in the world purpose-built for a women’s professional sports team, as well as Riverside Stadium during the final two days of camp.

KC Current Position Development Camp: August 4-7 (Ages 8-14) – KC Current Sports Complex 
The Current will close out its summer camp programming with its second Position Development Camp, featuring specialized training and drills for goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards.
