Kansas City Current Gears Up for Postseason with Watch Party and Activations Around Kansas City

KANSAS CITY (Oct. 30, 2026) — As the Kansas City Current gears up for the team’s third consecutive postseason appearance, the club is set to celebrate with a weekend of activations leading into NWSL Decision Day. The excitement culminates with a themed “Teal Time” watch party at Current Landing for the Current’s road match at Racing Louisville FC on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. CT, teasing the Current’s latest Teal Time annual postseason campaign theme.

The first 200 fans in attendance at Sunday’s watch party will receive a free Teal Time themed popcorn box, and all fans will be able to interact with larger-than-life Teal Time Clapper Boards set up in Current Landing. Food trucks, face painting and yard games will highlight the additional activations on display throughout Sunday’s watch party, plus all attendees can watch the Current’s crucial Decision Day clash on the big screen at Current Landing. Free tickets to Sunday’s themed watch party at Current Landing can be reserved HERE, and fan entry begins at 3 p.m. CT. 

Fans in Kansas City can also look forward to themed billboards celebrating Kansas City’s postseason berth and larger-than-life Teal TimeClapper Boards in Current Landing and City Market, letting fans know the date and time of the Current’s next match. Union Station is also displaying exterior teal banners supporting the Current’s upcoming postseason run. 

Kansas City officially secured the club’s third consecutive postseason appearance on Oct. 23 and are still in contention to host a quarterfinal match at CPKC Stadium should the club secure a top four spot on the final NWSL table. Fans can join the excitement at CPKC Stadium as potential home quarterfinal playoff tickets went on sale to the general public beginning Thursday, Oct. 29 at 10 a.m. CT. Union Station will also host a red-carpet premiere event for media and select guests to preview the Current’s playoff campaign hype video and build momentum for the club’s upcoming playoff push. The event will be held in the Extreme Screen Theatre at Union Station on Monday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. CT. More information is below.
