Kansas City Current announces Yoli Tortilleria as next restaurant partner in CPKC Stadium

2023 James Beard Award-winner Yoli Tortilleria, one of Kansas City’s culinary treasures, is the next partner to be announced by the Kansas City Current as part of the CPKC Stadium food and beverage lineup.

The Kansas City original, with a strong Mexican heritage, is sure to be a game day favorite for fans from all over the region. Yoli will be serving tacos: barbacoa de res and a vegan mushroom tinga, totopos with salsa, nachos and quesadillas with their iconic tortillas. Gluten free and vegan options will be available.

Fans are invited to attend a tasting and Teal Tuesday Takeover today from 12-1 pm at Yoli Tortilleria located at 1668 Jefferson St., Kansas City, MO 64108.

Yoli Tortilleria was the first tortilla bakery to earn the prestigious James Beard Award for Outstanding Bakery in 2023. This was the second consecutive nomination for Yoli. Marissa Gencarelli started Yoli with her husband Mark in 2017. It was a chance for Marissa to bring a piece of her home in Sonora, Mexico. Yoli focuses on producing premium Mexican products following traditional processes using local ingredients.

Yoli will greet fans at every event and every match from the southeast side of the supporter’s section at CPKC Stadium and is just one of an elite group of restaurants available to fans inside the stadium.
