Grand Boulevard Bike & Pedestrian Bridge
The Grand Boulevard Bike & Pedestrian Bridge WILL BE OPEN for all remaining KC Current matches, providing cyclists and pedestrians with a faster, safer route to CPKC Stadium from the River Market. Fans can access the Bike & Pedestrian Bridge at 2nd & Grand in the River Market.
The Grand Boulevard Bike & Pedestrian Bridge is one of two pedestrian-friendly walking routes to CPKC Stadium. The Town of Kansas Bridge, beginning at 2nd & Main, also connects fans to the riverfront. Staff and signage will be available to assist both cyclists and pedestrian traffic, including routing cyclists to CPKC Stadium’s complimentary Bike Valet service.
Due to ongoing construction, access to the Riverfront Heritage Trail may change on a match-by-match basis and impact cycling and walking routes to CPKC Stadium. Be sure to visit the CPKC Stadium Transportation Hub, download the KC Current App (turn on push alerts) and follow along on the club’s social media channels for the most up-to-date communications and updates regarding matchday logistics.
KC Streetcar
The newly opened CPKC Pavilion at the Riverfront Streetcar stop makes CPKC Stadium the most accessible stadium in Kansas City. It now extends service 0.7 miles to the Berkley Riverfront. The new terminus is the CPKC Pavilion, featuring a signature metal canopy and pedestrian access, located at East Riverfront Drive and Berkley Plaza, placing riders within a 5-minute walk of CPKC Stadium.
Fans can board the Streetcar at any of the 17 platform stops along its 6.5-mile route from University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) to the River Market. The line includes the original downtown stops and eight pairs of stops through Midtown and the Country Club Plaza.
This new stop provides direct, free, and accessible transportation to Berkley Riverfront Park, Founder’s Park, and CPKC Stadium. Click HERE for the full KC Streetcar route.
Matchday Shuttle Service
With the official opening of the Riverfront Streetcar extension, the Kansas City Current’s matchday shuttle service will conclude as fans can now ride the KC Streetcar directly to CPKC Stadium.
The shuttle program was always intended to provide a critical “last mile” connection until the streetcar reached the riverfront. With the extension now complete, fans can enjoy a seamless ride straight to the stadium on matchday.
The Riverfront Streetcar stop remains less than a five-minute walk from CPKC Stadium — approximately the same distance fans were already walking from shuttle drop-off locations. Fans also now have even greater flexibility, with the ability to park anywhere along the streetcar line and ride directly to the stadium. Supporters are encouraged to take advantage of the many transportation options available, including the KC Streetcar, biking and walking.
CPKC Stadium also offers on-site parking and accessible on-site parking in Blue Lot. KC Current and CPKC Stadium are committed to an accessible and inclusive matchday experience for all guests.
