Kansas City Current announce Ice Kit for 2023 NWSL Season

The Kansas City Current has revealed a newly designed alternate kit, the Ice Kit, for the 2023 NWSL season.

The Ice Kit features a clean white top with embossed designs, representing the rushing momentum and power of the Current, carving a new path driven by energy and optimism. Shorts and socks in the club’s iconic teal stand for the hope and acceptance that lives inside of us all. The unique material is engineered for optimal breathability, with moisture-wicking design to keep players dry and cool.

The club’s sponsors are prominently featured on the kit, including Saint Luke’s Health System emblazoned across the front, Palmer Square Capital Management on the back and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City on the sleeve.

Accents of Storm Blue, including the iconic NIKE Swoosh and names and numbers on the back of the jersey, grounds the Current in strength, determination and an unstoppable persistence to always reach for more.

The Ice Kit will be available to purchase later this Spring.

The Current will debut the Ice Kit on March 25 when they travel to North Carolina to take on the Courage in the 2023 regular season opener. The team returns to Kansas City for its home opener, a rematch of the 2022 NWSL Championship, on Saturday, April 1 with kickoff at 11:50 a.m.

Season tickets, Flex plans and single match tickets are available for all home matches at Children’s Mercy Park. For pricing and information visit kansascitycurrent.com/tickets.
