Championship Watch Party: Know Before You Go

We are looking forward to seeing you at the official NWSL Championship watch party. To ensure the best experience for our fans, we encourage you to read further details about the event below. We encourage fans to carpool or utilize our public transportation options listed below in support of our sustainability initiatives. An event map is located at the bottom of this email. 

WHAT: 

  • Portland Thorns vs. KC Current for the NWSL Championship!

WHEN:

  • Saturday, October 29 at 7 p.m. CT. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

WHERE:

  • Haverty Family Yards, Union Station, 30 W Pershing Rd. Kansas City, MO 64108

Arrival: 

  • Paid Event Parking On-Site: Parking will be available in the West Yards Parking Garage on the west side of Union Station, accessible via Broadway Street. ADA parking is available on the ground floor of the parking garage.
  • Public Transportation: Fans can also park downtown and ride to the event on the KC Streetcar that stops at Union Station.

We encourage you to review the below information before arrival:

  • Prohibited items - No outside food and beverage including empty water bottles
  • Clear bag policy will be in effect. Clear bags measuring 12” x 12” x 6” or smaller may be permitted after a thorough inspection by security staff
  • This will be a primarily standing event, outside chairs and blankets are not permitted
  • Online ticket does not guarantee access to watch party event due to venue capacity. Entry will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. Bar K and International Tap House will also be showing the match if this event reaches capacity

Food & Drink: Food and beverage will be available for purchase from local food trucks and bars set up with Boulevard Brewing Company products.

ADA Information: ADA parking is available on the ground floor of the parking garage. Food trucks will be located in a concrete area next to the event and there will be a dedicated viewing area to watch the match. If you need any assistance, please ask one of the staff or volunteers on-site who would be happy to assist.
