Celebrate the Holidays with Light Up The Pitch at CPKC Stadium for First Ever Walk-Through Light Experience

KANSAS CITY (Oct. 27, 2026) – Prepare to embark on an immersive journey this holiday season that will transform CPKC Stadium into a winter wonderland with Light Up The Pitch, a dazzling walkthrough experience. For the first time ever, guests are invited to create magical memories with views from all throughout the stadium beginning Friday, Nov. 27 through Sunday, Jan. 3, 2027. Tickets for the festive light display will go on sale to the public on Tuesday, Oct. 27 and are expected to sell fast.

Light Up The Pitch will guide guests through a unique route that will feature Kansas City’s favorite teal lights in KC Current-inspired displays, providing endless photo opportunities and memorable experiences found exclusively at CPKC Stadium and Current Landing. The approximately 60-minute walk will also include interactive lights displaying a winter wonderland, train depot, accented 26-foot tree that can be seen from Bond Bridge, larger-than-life Santa and much more.

The route is designed for guests of all ages and includes both adult and kids ticket options. A holiday-inspired menu will be located at various spots along the route, including a s’mores station. A pit stop at the post office offers kids a chance to write letters to KC Current players. KC Current holiday merchandise will be available for purchase on site.

Current Landing, the emerging entertainment district outside the stadium, will be adorned with lights, an extravagant Christmas tree, movies and more on the big screen. Patrons can visit various restaurants now open in Current Landing before and after the experience, ranging from elevated bar bites at Revel to curated cocktails at Pitchside.

Tickets are reserved for specific time slots Thursday through Sunday, and early bird pricing starts at $25 for adults and $15 for kids. Prices increase on November 4 so guests are encouraged to buy early. Buy tickets HERE and check cpkcstadium.com for closings and extended weeknight options.
