This week, the Kansas City Current competes in the club’s first-ever playoff match when they take on the North Carolina Courage in the 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup Semifinal at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4 at Children’s Mercy Park.

Important for KC Current fans to know, a win on May 4 at Children’s Mercy Park would force a reschedule of the 2022 KC Current NWSL regular season home opener, currently scheduled for Sunday, May 8 vs. the Houston Dash at Children’s Mercy Park.

In NWSL Challenge Cup Semifinal and Final matches, if the match is tied at full-time, the contest goes straight to penalty kicks.

If the Current win on May 4, they’ll advance to the NWSL Challenge Cup Championship on May 7. The higher seeded Semifinal winner will host the Championship match.

• KC Current to host Washington Spirit on Saturday, May 7 at 12 p.m. CT at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, KS. Tickets to go on-sale Thursday, May 5 at Noon.
• KC Current’s 2022 NWSL Regular Season Home Opener on May 8 vs. Houston Dash rescheduled to a TBD date.

If #2 KC Current win, #1 OL Reign win:

• OL Reign to host the Current on Saturday, May 7 at 12 p.m. CT at Lumen Field in Seattle.
• KC Current’s 2022 NWSL Regular Season Home Opener on May 8 vs. Houston Dash rescheduled to a TBD date.
