Adopt Millie, Our Mascot of the Match!

This season, KC Current is teaming up with local animal shelters in support of pet adoptions. For the third year, the club presents the Mascot of the Match campaign, spotlighting local animals ready for adoption.  

Our Mascot of the Match for KC Current vs. Angel City FC on Saturday, March 30 is Millie from Always & Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary!

Meet Millie! She originally came to the shelter back in 2019 as an extremely starved puppy, she was adopted but unfortunately recent returned due to issues with the little dog in the home. Due to her hard upbringing, Millie would do best as the only pet in the home. She sure does love her humans though! She's a 4-year-old Pitbull mix and so so much fun. Millie is very playful and definitely has a loud personality! She is very much a sweetheart as well. Millie enjoys playtime in the yards, specifically with her favorite purple ball. She will come and sit on your lap and give you kisses all day if you let her.

Always & Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary (a.k.a. Always & Furever or A&F) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue network operating out of Spring Hill, Kansas. In our early days, Always & Furever was nothing more than a converted barn for senior dogs to live out the rest of their days surrounded by love, a true senior sanctuary. Over the past 4 years, we have transformed into a massive operation of amazing people and more than 5,000 lives saved. We truly believe we can change the world, but not without the help of every single one of you.
