We are teaming up with local animal shelters in support of pet adoptions. For the fourth year, the club presents the Mascot of the Match campaign, spotlighting local animals ready for adoption.  

Our Mascot of the Match for KC Current vs. Gotham FC on Sunday, November 9 is David from Chain of Hope KC!

This happy-go-lucky guy is all about fun, friends, and fetching sticks bigger than he is! David loves playing with other dogs and is great with kids — he’s always ready to join in on the action. Whether he’s “helping” with yard work, going on adventures, or snuggling up after playtime, David’s the perfect mix of silly and sweet.

Chain of Hope is a passionate animal rescue organization committed to giving forgotten and neglected animals a second chance. They work every day to rescue those who are suffering, provide medical care and rehabilitation, and place them in loving forever homes.

They believe in breaking the cycle of neglect through education, outreach, and direct action. Whether it’s pulling a dog from the streets, helping a pet owner with resources, or speaking up for those who can’t, their mission is rooted in compassion and hope.
