Kansas City Current announces Messenger Coffee as next partner in CPKC Stadium

The Kansas City Current is proud to announce a renewed partnership with Messenger Coffee that includes their premiere coffee being served within CPKC Stadium. Their local and acclaimed coffee will be supplied at CPKC Stadium and will be brewed in the main stadium kitchen. Messenger Coffee will also be serving coffee samples at select home matches this year on the CPKC Plaza. 

Media and fans are invited to visit Messenger for a Teal Tuesday Takeover today from 3-4 pm at Messenger located at 1624 Grand Blvd. Kansas City, MO 64108.

In 2013, three small coffee companies with like-minded people teamed up to discuss the future of coffee in Kansas City. With an agreement to focus on equality throughout the coffee supply chain, high quality products and service, they launched Messenger Coffee. Their farm direct badge certifies the coffee was purchased in a way that directly impacts the producer.

Teal Tuesdays have celebrated new partnerships with Joe’s Kansas City, Billie’s Grocery, Yoli Tortilleria, Local Pig, Waldo Thai, Martin City Brewing Company, Room 39, Boulevard Brewing Co., Ruby Jean’s Juicery, High Hopes Ice Cream and now Messenger coming to CPKC Stadium. The club will have more announcements regarding the bespoke culinary experience at the stadium in the coming weeks on Teal Tuesdays. Fans are encouraged to celebrate all things KC Current with the team – and to wear teal – as the story of CPKC Stadium continues to come to life. 

 
CPKC Stadium is the first soccer stadium purpose-built for a professional women’s soccer team.
