We are teaming up with local animal shelters in support of pet adoptions. For the fourth year, the club presents the Mascot of the Match campaign, spotlighting local animals ready for adoption.  

Our Mascots of the Match for KC Current vs. Gotham FC on Sunday, November 9 are Chips & Guac from Chain of Hope KC!

Meet Chips & Guac! These 3-month-old brothers are looking for their forever home — together! They’re very bonded and must be adopted as a pair.

These boys had a rough start in an unsafe area, but with love and care they’ve blossomed into sweet, playful kittens. Animals are often more forgiving than we give them credit for, and these two are proof of that.

Chain of Hope is a passionate animal rescue organization committed to giving forgotten and neglected animals a second chance. They work every day to rescue those who are suffering, provide medical care and rehabilitation, and place them in loving forever homes.

They believe in breaking the cycle of neglect through education, outreach, and direct action. Whether it’s pulling a dog from the streets, helping a pet owner with resources, or speaking up for those who can’t, their mission is rooted in compassion and hope.
