We are teaming up with local animal shelters in support of pet adoptions. For the fourth year, the club presents the Mascot of the Match campaign, spotlighting local animals ready for adoption.
Our Mascot of the Match for KC Current vs. Racing Louisville on Saturday, August 30 is Alaska from Great Plains SPCA!
Alaska is a husky mix, but weigh just 42 pounds. You get the beautiful coat but not the large size. Alaska is friendly, social, loose, and wiggly, too. She is 3 years old. Alaska would love a chance to find a family that wants to love and care for her.
Great Plains SPCA provides lifesaving services for approximately 6,800 animals and 500,000 residents annually in the greater Kansas City area. Great Plains SPCA exists because of their caring Kansas City community and generous donors. They offer a lifelong, full-circle approach for pets and their human companions with our three-pronged approach: prevention, adoption, retention.
