This season, KC Current is teaming up with local animal shelters in support of pet adoptions. For the second year, the club presents the Mascot of the Match campaign, spotlighting one local animal ready for adoption.
The Mascot of the Match for KC Current vs. the Washington Spirit on Sunday, June 18 is Marley from Wayside Waifs.
Meet Marley, an adorable, 3-year-old, 66-pound bundle of love, with a darling smile that will warm your heart. Marley came into the shelter as a lonely stray and has been on the lookout for her fur-ever home, one without cats or other small, furry animals. Mostly housebroken and crate trained, Marley is an affectionate, loving companion that will be sure to add sunshine and silliness into your life. Marley loves to play but however with other dogs Marley likes to just hang-out and prefers to co-exist once she is comfortable. She should do well with other dogs who like to do the same. Marley is looking for a family who will give her lots of love, time, and attention and who will make her an active part of their lives. Marley has so much love to give to her people and can not wait to start making memories with you!
Marley is available for adoption through Wayside Waifs, a no-kill animal shelter located in Kansas City Missouri helping over 5,800 animals find their forever home. Wayside Waifs is committed to finding homes for all adoptable pets and prepares pets and people for the bond of their lives.
