Adopt Eddie Vedder, our Mascot of the Match!

This season, KC Current is teaming up with local animal shelters in support of pet adoptions. For the second year, the club presents the Mascot of the Match campaign, spotlighting one local animal ready for adoption.

The Mascot of the Match for KC Current vs. Racing Louisville FC on Saturday, May 20 is Eddie Vedder from KC Pet Project.

Adopt Eddie Vedder

Meet canine rockstar, Eddie Vedder, who is stealing hearts one wag at a time! Eddie Vedder just turned two years old 11 days ago and although he celebrated his birthday in the shelter this year, that has not dampened his spirit one bit. This handsome boy loves to have fun. He is a very playful and active pup, especially if tennis balls are involved. Eddie Vedder would appreciate an active family who loves long walks and play time just as much as he does! When it comes to meeting new people, Eddie Vedder has never met a stranger and will waltz right up to you for pets and snuggles. He is very friendly and loves making new friends. He also gets along well with other dogs and wouldn't mind having a canine sibling or two in his new family! Just like his namesake, this pupper will bring sweet melodies and a whole lot of energy to your life. Get ready to rock and roll with this super sweet and loving pup! Come meet Eddie Vedder today at the KC Campus for Animal Care in Swope Park.

May 20 is Military Appreciation Night, presented by Palmer Square Capital Management, and the Current is proud to highlight Pets for Patriots, an amazing adoption program for active-duty members of the military and Veterans. Pets for Patriots provides discounts on adoption fees, medical care, supplies and more.
