Adopt Dan! Mascot of the Match Presented by FunkAway

This season, KC Current is teaming up with local animal shelters in support of pet adoptions. In partnership with FunkAway, the club has launched the Mascot of the Match campaign, spotlighting one local animal ready for adoption for each home and away match of the regular season.

The Mascot of the Match for Racing Louisville FC vs. KC Current this Saturday is Dan, of Midwest Animal ResQ.

Meet Dan, a beautiful Catahoula Leopard Dog mix looking for an active and loving family who loves to play! He would love a running or hiking partner who would take him on all sorts of adventures. He's just over 1 years old and is so excited to share all the love and energy he has with you. His adoption family will receive gift bags from KC Current and FunkAway as part of the sponsorship.

He is currently housed at is currently housed at Midwest Animal ResQ, a small foster-based rescue group focused on saving dogs from inhumane conditions at local large scale breeding facilities. With the help of dedicated supporters and volunteers, MARQ has grown into a multifaceted group in just a short period of time. This has allowed them to increase their scope to serve the animals of the greater Kansas City area. Their mission statement is "Completing families one tail at a time,” which combines their focus of getting to know their pets and customers so they can make a perfect match!
