This season, KC Current is teaming up with local animal shelters in support of pet adoptions. For the second year, the club presents the Mascot of the Match campaign, spotlighting local animals ready for adoption.
Our Mascot of the Match for KC Current vs. C.F. Monterrey Femenil on Wednesday, October 4, presented by Bud Light, is Brumby from KC Pet Project!
Brumby is a 4-year-old Pit Bull/Terrier mix who has been at the shelter since August 27th. He was found roaming as a stray in South Kansas City and was brought in by a good Samaritan. Brumby needs a little time when meeting new people, but as soon as he feels safe with you, he will begin to open up. Brumby is loved by staff and volunteers alike for his sweet and gentle nature. He loves a good hot dog, but will take it from you gently. Walking Brumby is a breeze since he is great on leash and won't pull at all. He does attend playgroups at our shelter and could live with another dog after meeting them to make sure it's a perfect match. This handsome man would love a family of his very own! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Brumby, visit him today at the KC Campus for Animal Care.
