Adopt Anise, our Mascot of the Match! Kansas City Current

Adopt Anise, our Mascot of the Match!

This season, KC Current is teaming up with local animal shelters in support of pet adoptions. For the second year, the club presents the Mascot of the Match campaign, spotlighting one local animal ready for adoption.

The Mascot of the Match for KC Current vs. Racing Louisville FC on August 5 is Anise from the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City.

Adopt Anise

Anise is a beautiful Catahoula mix with a captivating personality. She’s about two years old, so she is ready for a life with an energetic family! When she’s done exploring the outdoors, her gentle and patient demeanor will really shine. When she finds her furever family, her unwavering loyalty is sure to come out.

The most loyal companion you could find, we are paws-itive she will quickly become the furriest member of your family. Her beautiful chestnut and cream coat is almost as captivating as her warm mocha eyes, impossible not to fall in love with as soon as you meet her.

Anise is available for adoption through the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City, an organization that provides preventative veterinary care and spay/neuter services, education and adoptions. In 1994, HSGKC became the first no-kill shelter in the KC area, taking in many pets who are sick or injured and need medical care.
